Music maker help

Postby lolbbq » Mon Jul 20, 2009 1:31 am

I'm not sure if this should be here, but whenever i turn on music maker and use it, the sound on it doesn't work. It was working for me a while ago, but then i opened it up again and it didn't work. The sound on my computer works fine, but it just doesn't work on music maker.
Does anybody know what's wrong, or how to fix it?
hi. :)

Hi, welcome to the forums. I think Music Maker has its own site, where you would probably get more sophisticated answers, but did you check the Synth volume in the volume settings? It could have been muted, windows do that all the time.

Hi again, another problem just came up.
Whenever I try to export one of my songs to midi format, my computer shows me a message that says "Runtime error '9': Subscript out of range" and then it closes music maker.
When I try to export other songs to midi format, it works just fine.
I really want to use this song in my game so is there any other way to export this file to midi format? Or is there any way to fix it so the message doesn't come up?

Oh, and if you don't know the answer to that question, what is the music maker website so I can ask them?
hi. :)

This is a Music Maker software issue. They would probably have a better answer unless someone on this forum has run into this problem before.

Hi there...:D

Hi again, another problem just came up.
Whenever I try to export one of my songs to midi format, my computer shows me a message that says "Runtime error '9': Subscript out of range" and then it closes music maker.

Are you attempting to ''convert'' one of your regular songs..into midi format using the music maker..?

Sort of sounds like that..:)..or is it one u made in the music maker..and are attempting to export it...

Did you make the tune in there..?

If indeed you are attempting to convert..there is an online converter, you can use instead..:) You don't have to download anything..Just convert it to what you would like..:)

Hm...well if it's working for all other files..but that one..Sounds like that one is the problem..Perhaps you could upload it here and one of us could download it..and try to see what's wrong with it..?

Hey..:)

Did you happen to copy that song from somewhere..?..Or basically just open it in there..save as mia file....then try to save it as .midi file....?

How exactly did this song come about...

Normally u might get this error..cause it wasn't saved properly..or perhaps was another format before..

I'm going to try and see if I can't find Music Maker's website..

P.s..I can't find a website..i don't think there is one..I'ts one of those free downloads...u can have as long as u express who's it is..ect..VB download..

You may have to redo this song..:( I'ts long too..I wondered if that had anything to do with it...but..probably not..

Ok..cause normally if u find a .mia file[some of them]..and u attempt to import into the player...It will only read it--this player will see it as a read-only file...

I hope it works for u..
Another reason why i asked if it was imported in there..was because it looked ''unfinished'' in this player..Forgot to mention that earlier..

Ok well Goodluck..:D

Peace
