Clickable inventory icon

Not sure if this has been covered, but is there a way to create a hotspot in frame that, when clicked, will bring up a continually updated inventory window? I know AM has an inventory option that can sit up at the top of the screen, can be shown at the bottom, and can have customizable pictures of objects, but can you have an icon at the bottom (or wherever) of every one of your frames that can bring it up as well? I hope this is possible, seems like it would be a fairly popular feature. Tried looking it up through "help" in AM, but I couldn't find what I was looking for.
